Bushehr (IP) - The Commander of the Aquatic Resources Protection Unit of the General Department of Fisheries of Bushehr Province said that 4 unidentified vessels were seized in the waters of Dayyr and Tangestan counties in the Persian Gulf.

Iran Press/Iran News: "The vessels seized included one ship, two fishing boats, and one small boat, all unidentified," said Colonel Qodratollah Hatamvand on Thursday. 

Colonel Hatamvand added that an unidentified boat was seized at the entry and exit points of the docks for illegal trawling and having no fishing license.

He said that two fishing boats were seized, one for not installing license plates and the other for increased engine power, the case which was handed over to the judiciary for legal proceedings.

Dayyr County is located 180 km south of Bushehr Province, southern Iran, next to the Persian Gulf waters.
