The Pakistani Prime Minister requested immediate measures from this country's relevant authorities and institutions to speed up humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon.

Iran PressAsia: According to Iran Press News Agency from Islamabad, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reviewed the latest situation of collecting and dispatching humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and Lebanon at the cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan called on the people, especially the affluent citizens of the country, to support the financial funds set up for Gaza and Lebanon so that more help can reach the Palestinians and Lebanese.

Radio Pakistan reported that Shahbaz Sharif also ordered two planes and several trucks carrying relief goods to be sent to Gaza and Lebanon as soon as possible.

In this meeting, while having a virtual conversation with the ambassadors of Pakistan in Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt, he demanded assurances from these officials that the aid would reach the mentioned areas.

Shahbaz Sharif also ordered a thorough awareness campaign about the Pakistan People's Aid Fund for Gaza and Lebanon.

The members of the cabinet of the government of Pakistan, presenting reports of the latest aid shipments sent to Gaza and Lebanon, announced in this meeting: "Due to the attacks and sieges of the Israeli regime, there are obstacles in delivering aid to the affected areas in Palestine and Lebanon."

It should be noted that since the beginning of the Gaza war and the aggression of the Israeli regime, the government of Pakistan has sent a total of 1,251 tons of humanitarian aid to Lebanon with 12 airplanes, including 10 cargoes for the people of Gaza and 2 cargoes for Lebanon.
