Tehran(IP): The new president of the Iranian Athletics Federation said, "I will try in the next four years so that this field reaches the status it deserves."

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press, Hashem Siami added that the plan to organize coaches and support them and athletes is one of the main priorities of the Federation in the next 4 years.

The new president of the Iranian Athletics Federation stated that athletes need help and that the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the National Olympic Committee, and other relevant institutions should help and cooperate so that the track and field reach its good days.

The Iranian Athletics Federation's election meeting was held at the National Olympic Academy on Sunday, and Hashem Siyami won the presidency of the Federation for a four-year term with 24 votes in the second round.

Afshin Davari, Maryam Monnazami, Ayub Behtaj, Hashem Siami, Hossein Jalali, Hamed Jolaei, and Mohammad Reza Mohaqeqi were the candidates for the Federation.
