Yazd (IP) - The Minister of Energy Reza Ardakanian stated that Iran's position in the Eurasian Economic Union market of 200 million people should be further enhanced.

Iran Press/Iran newsArdakanian added at the meeting of the resistance economy of Yazd province on Monday: "If we do not strengthen Iran's position in the Eurasian Union, we will not have a good situation when a large number of facilities and companies come to the fore."

The official noted: "Until the next November, we have the opportunity for Iran's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union to become permanent member, but if we do not succeed in realizing the plans, accession to this union will be temporary."

According to Ardakanian, thanks to the country's wealth, in the face of sanctions we have been able to achieve a lot in various fields, but in some areas, we still need a lot of effort. All forces and the private sector must take action in this area and make up for the backlogs.
