Tehran (IP) - In a message to his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulating him on the 29th anniversary of the country's independence, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani expressed hope to witness deepening cooperation in the interests of the two nations.

Iran PressIran news: Addressing the President of Uzbekistan, Rouhani said: "I hope that with your excellency and the efforts of the economic officials of the two countries, we will witness the deepening of cooperation in the interests of the two nations."

The President also wished good health and success for the Uzbek counterpart and the well-being of the people of this country, noting that cultural commonalities and joint efforts between the two countries have played a significant role in expanding and maintaining interactions in the context of the pandemic crisis.
