Iran Press/ Iran News: 'Sar Aqa Seyed' enjoys a special and traditional old architecture. In the village courtyards of houses are the roofs of other houses on the lower tiers, thus giving a staircase shape to the city.
The beautiful and touristy village of 'Sar Aqa Seyed' is also known as the 'Masouleh of Zagros' due to the very staircase architecture of the houses.
Masouleh is a city in Fuman city, Gilan Province, north of Iran.
The village's inhabitants are of the Bakhtiari tribe. Although the exact date of the formation of the village is not known, it is estimated that it dates back to about 800 years ago.
