Iran arms embargo removal, among JCPOA obligations

The Chief of Staff of the President of Iran Mahmoud Vaezi called the lifting of the arms embargo on Iran as one of the important obligations of JCPOA.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Chief of Staff of the President Mahmoud Vaezi in his latest tweet released on Wednesday that the US officials' recent move to impose their will upon the members of the UN Security Council to extend arms embargo on Iran is not only considered as the violation of the most basic rules approved by the international community but also serves as an insult to its independence of opinion as well as political will.

Stressing the fact that safeguarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is considered as the duty of the P4+1 group, he added that the lifting of the arms embargo against Iran is one of the main obligations of the JCPOA without which it will not continue.
