Secretary of Iranian High Council for Human Rights Ali Baqeri-Kani

Tehran(IP) - Secretary of Iran's High Council for Human Rights stressed that the United States has hijacked the human rights, saying that the foundations of American human rights are made up of two elements: coercion and hypocrisy.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ali Baqeri-Kani said at a meeting with the family of the late Deputy Chief of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis: "American human rights mean the assassination of the hero of fighting against terrorism, and the Iraqi people understand the inhumanity of American human rights."

He also said that racism is an integral part of the arrogant nature of the United States. 

Secretary of Iran's High Council for Human Rights added: "Historical figures and symbols of the US are all leaders of slavery and murderers of innocent people."

Iranian General and the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Qasem Soleimani, Deputy Head of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis along with eight others of their allies were assassinated in an air raid by US forces near Baghdad International Airport on Friday, 3 January.

The popular mobilization, which was established in 2014 with the fatwa of Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, the supreme authority of the Iraqi Shiites, which has played a key role in defeating ISIS terrorism in Iraq and is now at the forefront of the fight against ISIS survivors alongside the country's security forces.
