Afghanistan's Ministry of Repatriation and Refugees has announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the largest host of Afghan refugees and migrants in the world, hosting 2.5 million people.

Iran PressAsia: Afghanistan has 6.5 million refugees and asylum seekers worldwide, and Iran and Pakistan host 2.5 and 2.4 million Afghans, respectively, the deputy spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Repatriation and Refugees said.

Reza Baher stated that about 500,000 Afghans live in European countries, 500,000 in the United States and Australia, and another 500,000 in the UAE.

Tens of thousands of people have been displaced in many parts of Afghanistan due to the ongoing violence and insecurity in many parts of Afghanistan, the deputy spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Repatriation and Refugees said.

The Afghan Ministry of Ministry of Repatriation and Refugees has previously announced that 600,000 internally displaced people have fled their homes due to the conflict.
