IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi

Concerning safeguards implementation in Iran, IAEA's Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said that the International Atomic Energy Agency continues to verify the non-diversion of nuclear material declared by Iran.

Iran Press/Europe: "The IAEA continues to verify the non-diversion of nuclear material declared by Iran under its Safeguards Agreement, and evaluations regarding the absence of undeclared nuclear material and activities for Iran have also continued," Grossi highlighted.

"I call on Iran to cooperate immediately and fully with the Agency, including by providing prompt access to the locations specified by us.”

Iran's Foreign Ministry has warned the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)’s Board of Governors against targeting Tehran under pressure from the United States and Israel.

US President Donald Trump unilaterally pulled out the US from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018 and reimposed illegal sanctions on Tehran.
