Turkey condemns Zionist West Bank annexation as modern vandalism

Turkey condemns Zionist’s West Bank annexation as 'modern vandalism' and called the international community to take action to stop it.

Iran PressAsia: "Israel must stop illegal campaigns and the international community needs to stop 'modern vandalism'. Turkey and everyone with a sense of justice will stand by the Palestinian people," Turkey's presidential spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin said Saturday.

"Israel’s policy of occupation and annexation is an invitation to more conflict and escalation,” Kalin said on Twitter, adding: "Turkey and everyone with a sense of justice will stand by Palestine," in regards to Israel's recent plans to annex and further occupy the West Bank."

On  Friday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry slammed US support for the Zionist regime occupying plans and said that the US-Israeli alliance made the world much more insecure.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry reacted to the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's comments on the 2nd anniversary of the relocation of the US embassy to al-Quds from Tel Aviv and stressed that the US is committed to an apartheid regime whose existence depends on racism and occupation.

On May 14, 2018, the United States moved its embassy from Tel Aviv to al-Quds thanks to the inefficiency of human rights organizations and that of the UN.

The Israeli regime is going to occupy parts of the West Bank in July and annex them to the territories that have been occupied in Palestine.

The annexation encompasses over 30 percent of the West Bank. The United States said it was ready to recognize Israel's annexation of much of the occupied West Bank.
