Human Rights Watch says that Israel has stepped up pressure on Palestinians living in the 1948 occupied territories, known as Arab citizens of Israel, Arab Israelis, or Israeli citizens who are Arab, as part of its support for Jews.

Iran Press/Middle East: "After decades of confiscation of land and racial discrimination policies, Palestinian citizens live in villages and densely populated areas where have little potential for development," Al-Quds Al-Arabi Newspaper said, citing a new report by Human Rights Watch.

Israel's illegitimate regime supports the growth and development of settlements near Palestinian villages, often made up of Jews.

Most of these settlements are located in Palestinian villages, which were destroyed in 1948, and the Palestinians do not have the right to live in many of them.
