Iraqi Agriculture Ministry stressed that ISIS, with the support of foreign countries, aims to harm Iraq’s economy.

Iran Press/Middle East: Iraq’s Agriculture Ministry Spokesman Hamid al-Nayef said the foreign-backed remnants of the ISIS terrorist have set fire at wheat farms in some provinces such as Nineveh and Anbar, west and north of the country, to prevent Iraq to reach self-sufficiency.

Hassan Sabawi, a member of the Nineveh’s provincial council, also said that the ISIS terrorist elements are moving freely in the province's lands and setting fire at the farms in the city of Makhmur.

In recent days, the ISIS terrorist group has carried out several terrorist attacks in the northern, eastern and western parts of Iraq, which were thwarted by the vigilance of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) and security forces.
