Tehran (IP) - Iran's President described the US Government as anti-human, cruel, and ruthless, saying the US secretary of state "knows nothing about basics of politics."

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at a weekly cabinet meeting on Wednesday in Tehran, Hassan Rouhani stressed that the cruelest and evil government is in power in the US.

Referring to the assassination of the late Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani Iran's President asked: "Which government do you know that assassinates our military commander on a mission?"

"The United States has always been a terrorist and has stood up against independent and oppressed nations, but it is unprecedented to oppose the export of medicine to Iran amid the global health crisis of coronavirus," he added.

Iranian President referred to the distribution of aid packs among needy and the poor families during the holy month of Ramadan, adding: "The fact that people are helping each other and thinking about each other is rooted in our culture and our adherence to the family of the Prophet Muhammad and Imam Ali, who has been the same in his whole life."

Referring to the naval accident of Iranian vessel in the Gulf of Oman on Sunday, Rouhani expressed condolences over the martyrdom of navy sailors and stressed that the reasons for the accident would be determined and announced in the near future.
