Tehran (IP): Iran's Minister of Information and Communications Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi said on Tuesday that for the first time Iran's Space Research Institute has been ordered to build 5 Space capsules designed to carry astronauts.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi said, "Iranian space suits have not yet been made but they soon will be on the run."

"Today, the Ministry ordered the Aerospace Research Institute affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran to build five space capsules in the next three years capable of carrying 5 astronauts to orbit of the earth in the 190-kilometer distance. This is the first step towards sending Iranian astronauts into space," he emphasized.

Jahromi went on to say that five E-1 S explorer is ordered to be built. These space probes put robots in the orbits at the 190-kilometer distance of the earth. They are weighing 180 kilograms. The first five models are experimental and would be capable to transfer human beings into space.

Azari Jahromi expressed gratitude towards all who participated in this project and are working in space science.
