Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for Iran's Parliament Presiding Board, Assadollah Abbasi on the sideline of Iran's parliament closed session said that Iran's logic was not the one aimed at absolute revenge.

Iran PressIran news: Addressing the correspondents, including Iran Press correspondent the spokesman for Iran's Parliament Presiding Board  Assadollah Abbasi delivered a summary account of the closed session held on Sunday 12 January

Extending his condolences over the tragedies of last week as well as expressing sympathy over the martyrs of Ukrainian passenger plane crash, senior parliament member added that since the United States has threatened to hit Iran's 52 cultural spots, the plane crash incident occurred when Iran was on high alert.

The reason behind the postponement of Iran officials was out of the fact that the Iranian commander was present in the battlefields and on the mission, therefore, the announcement required more detailed investigation.

Abbasi went on to say that if the black box was supposed to be investigated it would be done in a matter of several weeks or even several months.

He concluded to say that during the parliament's closed session, the Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami has delivered a report over the assassination of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani.
