A group of Canadian Muslims mourned the martyrdom of the Quds Force Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani who was assassinated by on the orders of US President Donald Trump.

Iran PressAmerica: A group of Canadian Muslims mourned martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani who was assassinated in a US airstrike in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The ceremony was held on Sunday, January 5 at 3:30 p.m at Al-Rasul A'Zam mosque. 

A cleric made his remarks about God's promises and the necessity of punishment for sinners in this world.

Then a group of mourners who had gathered in the mosque held a chest-beating ritual. 

Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani was assassinated by direct order of US President Donald Trump along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport.
