Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at the 23rd Tehran Dialogue Forum, the former president of Afghanistan Hamed Karzai extended his condolences over martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and his companions, expressing hope that despite all the problems and the sad experiences of past days, the United States will act reasonably and come back to the Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, JCPOA.
Karzai also went on to say that "I hope European sides together with the contribution of Russia and China can in this regard try to force the United States to come back to Iran's nuclear deal.
Referring to the Iran-Afghan ties, former president of Afghanistan stated that "We hail Iran's efforts in Afghanistan. Our wish is peace and brotherhood together with prosperity in the region."
He wished for the happiness of the great nation of Iran.
Referring to the 2001 Bonn conference, Karzai went on to say that those countries who disagree with the US began to accompany Afghanistan in a so-called campaign to fight against terrorism to bring peace and stability to the region.
He referred to the fact that Iran who was against the United States participated in the event as an important country in the region and as Afghanistan's neighbor and tried its best to establish security in Afghanistan.
Afghan top diplomat also stressed that Iran afterward continued to cooperate with Afghanistan in the last 18 years despite US military presence in Afghanistan, helped the Asian country construct Afghanistan and took some measures in the education sector as well.
