Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has arrived in Beijing on Tuesday to talk to his Chinese counterpart.

Iran PressAsia: Heading a high ranking delegation, Mohammad Javad Zarif and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Chinese and Iranian officials including Iran's ambassador in China, Mohammad Keshavarz Zadeh.

Iran's deputy foreign minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi is also accompanying Zarif on this trip.

Zarif who is in Beijing at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, is due to visit him today.

In his negotiations with the Chinese officials, the top diplomat will discuss a range of issues, including bilateral ties, the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and the latest developments in the region and the world.

Zarif was in Moscow before he fly to China to hold talks with senior Russian officials, including his counterpart Sergei Lavrov, on a wide range of issues.
