Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif during a meeting with the “Elders Group” explained Iran's goals for the Hormuz Peace Endeavor.

Iran Press/Middle East: Zarif held a meeting with the “Elders Group” comprised of former secretaries-general and senior UN officials, outlining Iran's goals for the Hormuz Peace Endeavor, Iran Press reported.

The Elders Group, comprised of former secretaries-general and senior United Nations officials, met with Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif on Sunday at the Doha Forum and discussed and exchanged views on topics of interest.

During the meeting, which included former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon as a member of the group, Zarif provided an explanation of Iran's intended goals in connection with the Hormuz Peace Endeavor.
