Iran's head of the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET) considered NODET schools, Shahab plan, Scientific Olympiads, and Kharazmi Awards as four ways for discovering talented students in the country.

Iran Press/Iran News: "Talent discovery in the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET) can be accomplished in several ways," Fatemeh Mohajerani said on the sidelines of the 21st Kharazmi Youth Award Ceremony held today in Tehran.

"First, talented students are selected based on an annual comprehensive nationwide entrance examination procedure for students in grade 5 (elementary school) and grade 9 (middle school). The second way is the project of identifying and leading gifted students (Shahab), which is being implemented as a national project within the country and its main implementer is NODET," Mohajerani said.

She also referred to Kharazmi Awards and Scientific Olympiads as the other 2 ways for discovering exceptional talents.

"Thus, we have four main activities, all four focused on identifying and nurturing exceptional talents of Iran," she concluded. 205/204
