Iran Press/ Iran News: "The candidate for the presidential election must be a manager, tactician, and pious," Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, pointed out.
Emphasizing that the condition of piety is one of the main criteria in examining the qualifications of presidential candidates, the secretary of the Guardian Council said: "A person who has piety means that he fulfills all the duties and does nothing else."
In the end, Ayatollah Jannati said: "People should know that we are carrying a heavy burden. Examining a person whose eligibility is confirmed means that a person is religious and performs his religious duties and does not commit sins."
Iran’s 13th presidential election will be held on June 18.
