Iran Press/ Asia: The first phase of the plantation campaign was completed by planting saplings in Shah Faisal town.
Civil society members said that trees provide a clean and conducive environment. At the same time, trees are also useful for human health and there is no better time than Muharram to start this campaign. The organizers said that Imam Hussein (A.S), his family, and loyal companions sacrificed their lives in the hot and scorching desert without shade and water for the survival of Islam, so paying tribute to these 72 martyrs of Karbala, seventy-two plants were planted today.
They said that where these saplings have been planted, processions pass during Muharram and during a busy passage on normal days. On this occasion, scholars, citizens, and students planted trees and pledged to continue the mission of the martyrs of Karbala.
