Beijing (IP)- Iran's ambassador to China and chairman of the National People's Congress Foreign Affairs Committee of China stressed the expansion of parliamentary cooperation and countered US unilateralist policies.

Iran PressAsia:  Mohammad Keshavarzadeh, Iran's ambassador to China, in a video conference with the National People's Congress Foreign Affairs Committee on Friday, referring to the US sanctions against Iran said: "These sanctions also apply to companies that work in the field of health or vaccines and it indicates the malice and savagery of the ruling regime in the United States."

The Chinese statesman also called Beijing-Tehran relations strategic and said: "After the outbreak of the Coronavirus, the presidents of China and Iran exchanged views on expanding bilateral relations and cooperation in a fight with Covid-19.
