Iran Press/West Asia: Mohammad Afif attended the office of the Syrian Ruling Baath Party when the building was targeted by an Israeli airstrike.
Mohammad Afif, along with 5 others was martyred in an Israeli airstrike. He worked as Hezbollah's main contact point with many journalists in Beirut.
Israeli Army's Radio also said that the aim of targeting the headquarters of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in the Ras al-Nabaa neighborhood in central Beirut was Mohammad Afif.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Ali Hejazi said that the building targeted by the Israeli airstrike was owned by the party and all floors of the building were used exclusively by the party.
Ali Hejazi said that the Baath Party Building wasn't a secret base and many meetings were held inside the building at the time of the Israeli brutal attack on Gaza and Lebanon.
Hejazi confirmed that Mohammad Afif was inside the building when it was targeted by the Israeli enemy and said that the assassination of figures like Afif aims to silence the voice of the Resistance.
