Thousands of protesters carried Palestinian flags and banners reading 'You don't have to be Muslim to stand up for Palestine, you just have to be human,' ''Stop the genocide and Israeli occupation of Palestine", were carried by the participants.
The head of the coalition condemned the escalation of Israeli attacks on civilians in Gaza and said that an immediate UN ceasefire resolution made it necessary for us to take to the streets. The protestors also demanded to make the effects of the resolution practical to stop attacking the Palestinian population.
