Iran Press/ Asia: Delivering a speech at the conference, the Chairman of the Iran Academy of Persian Literature Gholamali Haddad Adel said that the influence of Shahnameh's stories in the minds of the world's poets and authors has led to works in other countries, which are inspired by Shahnameh.
Haddad Adel told Iran Press on the sidelines of the event that wherever the Persian language is present in the world, Iranian culture can be observed.
Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, which is a thousand years old, has expanded well the epic dimensions and high humanitarian and spiritual concepts of Iranian culture in the world.
The Persian Language Professor in Türkiye's universities and the Turkish translator of Shahnameh Nimet Yildirim told Iran Press that the Turkish version of Shahnameh has so far been reprinted and more than 11,000 of the translated versions have been sold in Türkiye.
He stressed that Türkiye has long been one of the cradles of Persian language and literature, and Iranian poets such as Ferdowsi, Molavi, Saadi, and Hafez are known in Turkey.
