Tehran (IP) - The ambassador of Brazil to Tehran called for the establishment of a Persian language course at the University of São Paulo, Brazil.

Iran PressAmerica: According to Iran Press news agency, "Eduardo Ricardo Gradilone Neto ", the ambassador of Brazil to Tehran, in a meeting with "Elham Aminzadeh", the international vice president of the University of Tehran, proposed the establishment of a Persian language course at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, which was approved.

Eduardo Ricardo Gradilone Neto, the ambassador of Brazil in Iran, referring to the good relations between Iran and Brazil in various fields, described the field of academic cooperation between the two countries as very favorable.

Arlen Elizabeth Klemsha, a professor of the Department of Oriental Literature at the University of Sao Paulo, also said: "In the Department of Oriental Studies of this university, some oriental languages such as Arabic and Armenian are taught, and this university is interested in adding Persian language teaching to the existing courses."

Brazil is the eighth largest economy in the world and the most important economic partner of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Americas, with a GDP of 2033 billion dollars and foreign trade of 400 billion dollars per year.
