IP - US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken wrapped up his trip to the Middle East aiming at forging a ceasefire without any tangible result.

Iran Press/West Asia: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday evening met Egyptian President Abdul Fatah Al-Sisi before wrapping up his ninth visit to the Middle East since the war on Gaza began almost 11 months ago.

Blinken trip to the region and discussion with regional mediators including Doha was an action to show the US goodwill in ending the war on Gaza and demonstrating US diplomatic power over the Israeli regime, but has no achievement.

Blinken said that Israel has accepted a proposal and now it is time to "get Hamas on board".

Hamas showed rapid reaction to Blinken's claims and said that the latest proposal overturns what it had agreed to.

Hamas said the US is forcing Palestinians to new Israel's conditions.

Meanwhile, the American website "Politico" quoting unnamed US and Israeli officials disclosed that a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas is on the brink of collapsing and there is no alternative agreement.

In the past 24 hours, at least 52 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza.

So Far, at least 40,173 people have been killed and 92,857 wounded in nearly 11 months of Israeli relentless attacks.
