Iran Press/ Iran news: The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UK, Hamid Baeidinejad said that 'BBC Persian' is an accomplice in the project of Economic Terrorism against the Iranian people because of the misrepresentation of our country's economic situation.
Hamid Baeidinejad wrote on his Twitter page on Thursday: "Last night, BBC Persian in an interview with political activist Farzaneh Fasihi in the US provided a very false interpretation of Iran's economy and explicitly called for Iranians to immediately withdraw their assets from the banks. They say 'we are journalists.' No, this is an accomplice in the project of Economic Terrorism."
Baeidinejad said on Wednesday that UK's communications regulator 'Ofcom' confirmed receiving of Iran's complaint against the BBC Persian.
He tweeted that Ofcom has declared readiness for probing Iran's complaint. 104/219
