Iran Press/Iran News: Farid Haghpanah, Director-General of Bashmaq Customs in Marivan added: "With the coordination of the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the agreement of the Ministry of Interior of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, the Bashmaq border is open for passenger commute from today (Saturday)."
Haghpanah stated that passengers can travel through this border by showing a certified negative Coronavirus test.
The border of Bashmaq of Marivan in Kurdistan is one of the most important official land borders of Iran with the Iraqi Kurdistan region, which is active in the field of transit, export, passenger affairs, and a significant amount of imports.
In the past few days, in order to control the new British Coronavirus, passengers were banned from entering and leaving the Bashmaq border terminal.
