Iran Press/ Iran news: Attending the event, Tehran's Mayor expressed his satisfaction and gratitude for those who have tried hard to win medals.
While also expressing his deepest sympathy for those who lost their lives in Gaza to Israel's atrocious crimes, Alireza Zakani said: "As the world is witnessing these massacres and slaughter, Iranian athletes' efforts are appreciated."
Zakani noted that great steps have been taken via Iran regarding sports.
