Iran Press/ Iran news: The great Arbaeen march is over in Iraq, and Iranian pilgrims are leaving Iraqi soil and returning home through the four main border crossings.
According to an Iran Press report, Mehran international border crossing which is located in Ilam province in Western Iran has been particularly busy with many pilgrims choosing this border crossing to enter and leave Iraq. It has been a record year in terms of the number of pilgrims heading for Iraq at Arbaeen this year.
The Mehran international border crossing is the most important and busy border crossing for pilgrims who wish to either enter or leave Iraq.
According to Iranian officials, this year some 3,300,000 Iranian pilgrims have participated in the Great Arbaeen Walk and mourning rituals. 207/211
