Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that the Islamic Republic will deliver an appropriate response to Europe’s recent "non-technical" move, emphasizing that external pressures will not deter Iran from its commitment to constructive cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Iran Press/Iran news: In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Araghchi reiterated Iran’s willingness to work collaboratively with the IAEA but criticized European actions that contradict this intent. “We have demonstrated genuine resolve to cooperate with the agency, yet Europe’s recent approach undermines this path,” he stated.

Referring to the visit of IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi, Araghchi highlighted that Iran's goal was to open a "new chapter" in relations with the international nuclear watchdog. “We aimed to find common ground to resolve the remaining issues. Mr. Grossi expressed optimism and welcomed this approach,” he said.

However, Araghchi issued a stern warning: “We have cautioned that applying pressure will not yield favorable results. It will not dissuade Iran from its decision to pursue positive collaboration with the agency.”

He concluded by reaffirming Iran’s stance: “The Islamic Republic of Iran will respond appropriately to Europe’s non-technical actions.”
