Yemeni UAV attacks on Saudi Khamis Mushait air base

The Yemeni army drone units and Ansarullah targeted the important Khamis-Mushait air base during their drone strikes in southern Saudi Arabia.

Iran PressMiddle East: Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Saree said on Saturday that the Yemeni army's UAV strikes carried out a wide-range attack using Qasef-2K drones against Saudi Khamis Mushait airbase.

He emphasized that the Yemeni airstrike, using several of the above-mentioned offensive drones, was within the framework of legitimate response to the continued US-Saudi aggression crimes and raids against the Yemeni nation, Almasirah reported.

The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman noted that Qasef-2K drones targeted with high accuracy military targets at the base.

The Saudi regime and a number of its allies including the United Arab Emirates and Sudan launched a war against Yemen in March 2015, ostensibly to restore fugitive president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to power.
