Minab (IP) - The 377-year-old 'Alam-e-Peyghambar' mourning ritual is the largest religious community in southern Iran, held annually on the fifth day of Muharram in the city of Minab.

Iran Press/Iran news: On the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), more than 7,000 of mourners from Hormozgan, Kerman, Fars and Bushehr provinces, as well as Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates travel to Minab to attend the 'Alam-e-Peyghambar' mourning ritual.
