Iran Press/ Iran News: The Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Mohammad-Ali Zolfigol, stated on Sunday that the priority is the health of students and academics while attending the universities in person.
The minister attended the first day of the universities and schools reopening at Tehran University Sunday morning.
"If for any reason it is not possible for students to attend courses, they can apply for online education," he said.
"One of the effective ways to create jobs, especially for university graduates, is knowledge-based companies, so we are determined to use the great potential of the university community along with science and technology parks and centers," Zolfigol noted.
The COVID outbreak, which started in early March 2019 in Iran, forced the universities and schools in the country to use distance learning and hold online courses.
