Iran Press/ Middle East: In a joint presser with Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir- Abdollahian, Saudi FM Faisal Farhan also said:
"According to the agreement made in Beijing, the embassies of the two countries have been reopened and the ambassadors of the two countries have been identified. " The Saudi Foreign Minister also said: "We are waiting for Mr. Raisi's visit to Saudi Arabia based on the invitation made to him by the Saudi King."
This Saudi official further stressed: "We are looking to open a new page in the relations between the two countries. "
Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir- Abdollahian also said in a joint press conference with his Saudi counterpart: "Iran-Saudi relations are on the right track and progressing. We are determined to expand the relations between the two countries in all fields."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran said: "We and Saudi Arabia agree to define a framework and format that will be put on the agenda to follow up the relations between the two countries in various fields with the foreign ministers of the two countries being in charge of it and the formation of various specialized committees."
He also said: "We emphasized the bilateral and multilateral cooperation of the private sector of the two countries.
Amir -Abdollahian further explained: "We believe in endogenous and indigenous security in the region. Referring to the neighborhood policy of the 13th government in the field of foreign policy, "
Amir-Abdollahian stated: "In this framework, we are on the right track to strengthen relations with our neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf."
Amir- Abdollahian emphasized in his speech:" The idea of security and development is inseparable and belongs to all actors in the region."
Iran's Foreign Minister then said: Mr. Raisi will travel to Saudi Arabia at the right time. Amir- Abdollahian also noted:" We support holding Expo 2030 in Saudi Arabia. In the field of sports, we agreed that the sports teams of the two countries should play friendly matches."
