Iran Press/ Iran news: On Tuesday a statement issued by Saudi security services put the names of Ghasem Soleimani, the top commander of IRGC's Quds Force, and IRGC commanders Hamed Abdollahi and Abdul Reza Shahlai, on their self-proclaimed terror list.
Iranian Parliamentary Director General for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian tweeted: “The Saudi, Bahraini oppressive regimes which rule their own people through oppression and intimidation, are in no position to call IRGC's Major General Ghasem Soleimani a terrorist” reported Mehr news agency.

Amir-Abdollahian was not the only senior Iranian official who reacted harshly toward Saudi's false claim: A senior IRGC commander has also slammed the designation of three Iranian commanders as terrorists by Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, saying their action was a form of obfuscation or "forward escape" to deflect attention from brutal killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
“Saudi regime, along with the regime in Bahrain are planning a forward escape to deflect public attention from embarrassing revelations of Khashoggi's murder at the Saudi Consulate in Turkey,” Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps for Political Affairs Brigadier General Yadollah Javani said.

Brigadier General Javani added: “With this action, the Saudi regime wants to divert public attention, but they certainly will not succeed, because world public opinion is well-aware of the nature and characteristics of the ruling regime in Saudi Arabia.”
He went on to refer to the Islamic Republic's actions in support of Iraqi and Syria's legitimate governments in the fight against Takfiri terrorist groups, and stated: "The world knows very well that the Revolutionary Guards, acting on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran, have been at the forefront of the fight against terrorist groups.”
However, the IRGC deputy commander noted: “Saudi Arabia has always supported terrorist groups and today, Saudi terrorism has become more apparent to governments and nations around the world.”
He added mainstream media have reported how Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has slaughtered and eliminated dissident groups by forming death squads.
He further described Khashoggi’s case as a big scandal for Saudi regime and its allies.
“It seems that Saudi Arabia is trapped by and is under public opinion’s pressures, wanting to change the atmosphere by issuing anti-Iran statements, but they are making a big mistake,” Javani said, stressing “The Revolutionary Guards have a special place in the hearts of the people and governments of the region. They regard it as a representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and look up to its role in creating peace and stability through countering terrorist acts.”
Earlier on October 24, The deputy IRGC chief for parliamentary affairs said that Saudi leaders put some of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commanders in their terrorist list to distract the world from journalist Jamal Khashoggi's murder case.
The killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi is only one of the Saudi crimes and its' supporters, while they are killing innocent people every day in Yemen, Syria and Bahrain, the deputy IRGC chief for parliamentary affairs highlighted.
Saudi Arabia and Bahrain added Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) to their terrorism lists on Tuesday claiming that the body is providing financial and material support to what they describe as Iran’s terrorist activities.

The news comes after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan demanded Saudi officials reveal the whereabouts of Khashoggi’s remains, after the Saudi government admitted Khashoggi had been murdered, albeit in a “fist fight” with officials inside the consulate in Istanbul.
