Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, while stressing the fact that looking to the East does not mean abandoning the West and it would not mean tying Iran with Russia and China, said: "The Vienna talks and the revival of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action( JCPOA) would be done relying on the collective wisdom."
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian added: "The keywords that are used for Iran's administration foreign policy would be a balanced foreign policy, categorized under the terms active, dynamic and smart diplomacy."
Regarding the fact that looking to the neighbors as well as they look to Asia and the interaction with the regional countries is a top priority for Iran in the field of foreign policy, he stated: "Looking to Asia does not mean that no attention would be paid to other regions, including the West."
Amir- Abdollahian pointed out: "We have explicitly told the Westerners that we are in the same region with China, Russia, and India and we are in the geography of Asia, and because of the policies pursued by the United States and non-fulfillment of obligations vis-a-vis Iran, they are losing day by day and are getting away from investment and interaction programs with Iran in various commercial and economic fields."
The Iranian foreign minister added: "Iran will not remain left in the lurch and will decide in its own interests and move forward."
