Tehran(IP)- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran honored the day of preserving the Persian language and commemorating Hakim Ferdowsi, and considered the love of the country to be the priority of everything else.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran press news agency, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote in a message in his Instagram account that Ferdowsi learned that love for values and love for the homeland and preserving its independence precedes everything else.

In his message, Amir Abdollahian also published two verses of Hakim Abulqasem Ferdowsi's poems and added, "May the day of preservation of Persian language and commemoration of Hakeem Abulqasem Ferdowsi be honored."

Ordibehesht 15 (May 25) is named as the day of sage "Abul Qasim Ferdowsi", the great Iranian epic writer and poet, and the day of preservation of Persian language and literature.

At the age of 80, Hakim Ferdowsi's poetic flair and passion for reviving the national pride of Iran led to the creation of a great masterpiece called Shahnameh.

Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, which has nearly fifty thousand verses, is a collection of national stories and ancient history of ancient kings and great warriors of Iran, which describes their heroic deeds along with conquest and victory, chivalry, bravery and religiosity.

Ferdowsi is undoubtedly the greatest Persian poet and his Shahnameh is the most valuable masterpiece of Iranian language, thought and culture, and many researchers have called it the greatest epic in the world.

Every year, many ceremonies are held to commemorate this Persian-speaking poet by Ferdowsi's fans in various literary associations and circles around the world and Iran.
