Baku (IP) - “The peoples of Iran and Azerbaijan are almost the ones with the most common denominator in the region, our people enjoy common fields and relations,” Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told journalists in Baku.

 

Iran Press/ Asia: “We believe that we will restore high-level ties and the relationship between Iran and Azerbaijan,” the Iranian FM noted on Wednesday.

The Iranian Minister also expressed his confidence that all problems in the South Caucasus will be addressed through peace and negotiations.

The top Iranian diplomat traveled to the Republic of Azerbaijan to attend a ministerial Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) meeting. Amir-Abdollahian held talks with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the sidelines of the conference.
