The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Thursday night called for immediate action by countries and international organizations, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to confront the aggression and crimes of the Israeli regime.

Iran Press/Iran news: Israeli militants and settlers have repeatedly attacked various areas of Palestine in recent days, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, martyring at least 20 Palestinians and wounding hundreds more.

Condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, condemned the crimes of the Israeli regime during the World Quds Day ceremony, which was held online and in English.

Iran's top diplomat in this ceremony also referred to the naming of the International Day of Quds by Imam Khomeini, the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and commemorated Martyr Emad Mughniyeh, Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, Fathi Shaghaghi, Abbas Al-Musawi and also the great martyr of Quds, Major General Ghasim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes.

In his speech, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran also referred to the proposed political plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran to resolve the Palestinian issue, which was proposed by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, a decade ago.

The plan, registered with the UN Secretariat, is based on ending the occupation and holding a referendum with the participation of the main inhabitants of the Palestinian territories.

Amir Abdollahian also stressed at the ceremony that the Israeli regime is currently in its weakest state, noting that the resistance is in its best condition today.

Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized Iran's continued support for the oppressed people of Palestine, noting that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its support for the Palestinian people until the Palestinian government is established on the mainland of Palestine.
