Iran Press/ Iran News: "I congratulate the nation, government, and foreign minister @ZambryOfficial on the National Day of Malaysia," Iran's top diplomat wrote on media platform X formerly known as Twitter.
National Day of Malaysia, also known as Hari Kebangsaan, is the independence day of the Federation of Malaya from the British Empire. It commemorates the Malayan Declaration of Independence of 31 August 1957 and is defined in article 160 of the Constitution of Malaysia.
"Iran does not set any limits for the development of relations with the Muslim and brotherly country, Malaysia, and we will soon see a leap in our relations at different levels with the formulation of a long-term strategic cooperation plan between the two countries," the message reads.
