Tehran(IP): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has no limitations for expanding relations with Italy.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian voiced hope in the meeting with the new Italian ambassador to Tehran, Paola Amadei, on Saturday, pointing to the good records and growing relations between the two countries, economic and commercial, scientific, technological and cultural development.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran also stated that the approach of the Iranian government is to develop and expand with all the world's countries, including Europe. He also explained the two countries' rich roots of culture and civilization, and his plan to deepen and expand bilateral relations.

The new Italian ambassador to Tehran also pointed to the position of the European Union based on international conventions in condemning the attack on the consulate of the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

He emphasized Rome's position in opposing the development of tension and war in the region and interaction through clear dialogues, as well as the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of the main actors in ensuring stability and security in the region. 219
