Trump admits US cyber-attack on Russia

The US president admitted that during his tenure, Washington had carried out a cyberattack on Moscow.

Iran PressAmerica: US President Donald Trump has confirmed that Washington launched a mild cyber attack on the Russian Internet Research Agency in 2018.

Trump has admitted that the cyber attack on Russia was ordered by him.

The US president also acknowledged that the cyber attack on Russia was part of a broader policy of confrontation with the country.

CNN claimed that the Russian Internet Research Agency is suspected of providing grounds for interfering in the two presidential elections of 2016 and the midterm elections of the US Congress in 2018.

Russian government officials, meanwhile, have repeatedly denied US allegations of meddling in the US election.  207/219
