Iran Press/Asia: More than 5,000 newly published book titles from 40 publishing houses representing Turkey, Iran, China, India, Russia, and Turkmenistan are on display at the Dushanbe International Book Fair.
Hamed Mohaghegh, from the Iranian House of Literature Foundation, representing Iran's publishing industry at the Dushanbe International Book Fair, told an Iran Press correspondent on Wednesday, Oct. 23, that some 300 titles from various Iranian publishers were on display.
He noted that the Iranian booth features classics by Ferdowsi, Saadi and Hafez, along with contemporary poetry, fiction, children's books, and works on Iranian music and history.
Held at the National Museum of Tajikistan through Oct. 24, the Dushanbe International Book Fair has seen strong interest from Tajiks visiting the Iranian booth.
