IP - The death toll in the Gaza Strip is increasing, approximating 30,000 while the children are coping with the starvation caused due to the Israel war and blockade on Gaza.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The Israeli war on Gaza entered its 145th day on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, as the Israeli regime's bombing campaign on the Gazans continued with the martyrdom of civilians being reported near Deir al-Balah.

At least  29,954 people have been killed and 70,325 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.

A senior UN humanitarian aid official has said that one-quarter of Gaza’s population – estimated to be at least 576,000 people – is a step away from famine.

As the Palestinian media reported, at least five civilians were martyred by Israeli strikes south of Deir Al-Balah and Gaza City.

The Israeli regime carries out the attacks as famine is intensifying across Gaza, and the people are "one step away from the famine";

The head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Ramesh Rajasingham, says “one-quarter of the population” in Gaza is “one step away from famine,” while the “entire population is left to rely on woefully inadequate humanitarian food assistance to survive.”

It was on October 7 that the Palestinian Resistance carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on the Israeli regime's forces in response to the regime's daily crimes against the Palestinian people during 75 years of occupation of Palestine since 1948.

Since then, the Israeli regime got into a frenzy and began to pound the Gaza Strip with bombs; so far nearly 30,000 people have been martyred, a large part of whom are non-civilians including women and children.
