Iran Press/ Middle East: Following the pass away of Grand Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani, the Iranian government delegation has declared public mourning on Wednesday) all across the Islamic Iran.
Ayatollah 'Safi Golpayegani', the supreme authority of the Shiite world, passed away on Monday night at the age of 103 in Qom after a lifetime of hard struggle.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on Tuesday sent a message of condolences on the departure of the supreme jurist and authority of insight, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Lotfollah Safi Golpayegani.

Ayatollah 'Safi Golpayegani' has been teaching and researching in the seminary of Qom for many years. The training of hundreds of researchers and the writing of dozens of magnificent scientific works are the fruits of the blessed life of this great authority.
According to Iran Press News Agency, Sheikh 'Akram Al-Kaabi', Secretary General of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement in Iraq, extended a message of condolences on the demise of Ayatollah 'Safi Golpayegani' on Tuesday night; the one whose efforts were made to serve the people as well as meeting their needs and improve their relationships among themselves.
So far, many religious officials and figures in the Islamic world have offered their condolences on the departure of Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Sistani, the supreme authority of the Iraqi Shi'as, also expressed his condolences on the pass away of Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani and stated that the absence of Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani, who was one of the professors of the holy seminary of Qom and the benefactors of this period and exemplary servants of religion, is a great loss.
