Iran Press/ Iran News: Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Mirwais Nab met with his Iranian counterpart Seyyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss the development of bilateral relations.
"I had a constructive conversation with Araghchi about the Comprehensive Cooperation Document, which includes economic, transit, political, and border affairs. Legalizing the situation of Afghans in Iran is our top priority," Nab wrote on his Twitter account about the meeting, which took place yesterday (Sunday).
He also thanked Iran for supporting the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in its efforts for peace.
Yesterday, the Afghan Acting Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar traveled to Tehran with a high-level political and economic delegation for a two-day visit. He met with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani.
